DJ RoboRob is a classically trained multi-instrumental musician who appeared as a guest on an early episode of the show.
Since then he has become a friend of the show, making an appearance on a later episode with fellow musician Chuck None.
Lars has noted that the episode with RoboRob was one that especially demonstrated the podcast having "hit its stride", partially thanks to the playful and witty guest on it.

Rob can play every instrument and make any music. He is the Superman to most musicians' The Flash.
Thoughts on "Beach" by Plok
Rob is a fan of "Beach" by Plok, much like Lars. He fondly remembers playing the game in his childhood, and has noted that the song is done in 7/8 time.
