Significance[]
This episode is significant in that it was the first episode in which a formal guest star was procured. Due to Lars previously establishing an acquaintanceship with popular YouTube musician Nick "Pogo" Bertke, the former was able to land the latter as their initial guest.
At the time, The First Podcast was completely unknown. The fact that Lars was able to get such a comparatively massive first guest is a continual source of amusement for both hosts. The next few guest stars were much more "reasonable" in terms of fame.
