" -Chris during a typical intro
Christopher Kennard, colloquially known as "the shadow of The First Podcast", is a friend of the show and a former guest liaison for it.

Role on the show Edit

Most of Chris's work on The First Podcast was behind the scenes, but visible to those who looked for it. He could be seen on the Discord channel, listening in on episode recordings, and helping the discussion move forward with calculations and relevant links.

He also provided assistance for individuals who may not be able to hear the episode, delivering very brief notes of key points during episodes.

His role as a guest coordinator was eventually taken over by Tiege.

Hosting duties Edit

Occasionally, Chris would appear on an episode as a co-host or guest host. A source of subtle humor generally arose from the fact that he had a notorious issue getting a word in, over the much more talkative Lars and Joe (as well as Richard, and even Ohan in many cases). He also has a poor Wi-Fi connection at his current residence, leading to the vast majority of his audio not coming across on Discord.

Personality Edit

Chris is very soft-spoken and takes his time with his sentences. Combined with his notoriously bad Wi-Fi connection leading to frequent dropouts on Discord, as well as a recording setup with a very quiet microphone, he tends to find difficulty getting a word in edgewise when on episodes. This unfortunate trifecta is the source of consistent amusement for the other hosts.

He never seems to hold this against anyone, appearing to enjoy merely being there for the ride; however, he will push through and interrupt as many times as it takes if he feels he has something truly significant to contribute. The other hosts give him the floor when they notice (which they often do not).

Impression of Joe Edit

On at least one episode, Chris was able to fool Joe with a solid impression of the latter, screaming about a hypothetical intruder needing to "stay away from [his] eggs".

Joe is quite flappable, but he was even more flapped by this than usual.
